WHIF's on Scalemates

Totally right, Chris. I've been updating my Scalemates albums and linking them to their respective projects and still have a few models to put in there.

It's already finished, came out very good...

although that's the third whif PoAF F-20 i've seen in the exact same scheme...

Still it's good to see more Portuguese whiffers.

At the same time, it's sad to say but i think that most Portuguese modellers seem like they're afraid of building what-ifs... or at least, showing them to other modellers... don't know but could it be fear from the reaction of the JMNs or the old school real world modelling elite? Or simply a lack of interest?
There are very few Portuguese showing whif builds, Besides Ricardo, i've found one guy that is mostly into kitbashes with a steampunk and sci-fi touch in his builds and, a couple of guys who build one every 5 years but besides those, most are only into real world builds. I've only had one JMN trying to start an argument on Facebook about one of my PoAF builds, but i know that a lot of them think it's not "proper" modelling...
OTOH, i've had quite a few guys saying that they din't like what-ifs but my builds have changed their minds so, might be that my builds have been influencing some Portuguese to build more whifs. I wish i get to see that happen, wouldn't feel so out of place when i post on the Portuguese facebook groups and the forum...
