RAF 1,000lb bomb colour

I am wondering if anyone can provide me with definitive information regarding the colours I should paint some 1,000lb bombs. Would they be all over dark green and which green should they be and would the tail section be a different colour? I believe that there should be a yellow band around the nose to depict a "live" weapon but is it a continuous line or a dashed line?

Which period are you referring to? Pre-NATO or NATO?

Sorry, I should have said. NATO/modern period though I am specifically looking at around the mid 70's

No idea how I missed this answer. Just started painting the bombs in Humbrol 163 (Dark Green BS641) which happens to be a fairly old tin of Humbrol Colour with the printed label that went inside the rim of the tin lid. Still in good condition and looks as if its going to come out all right.
