The Academy is now off to check it`s Cayman Island bank accounts to confirm the `sponsorship` money has been paid and within a few weeks or so, the Academy will be contacting the winners for an email address so that your winner's certificates can be sent on to you.

We at the Academy thank you all and will look forward to seeing you again for the 2017 Whiffies.

Well I really didn't want to be the first to reply as I'm feeling very humble and almost a bit embarrassed!

I was extremely happy just to have been nominated, but to win and win big against some truly amazing models and modellers...well I'm quite lost for words...which is strange for me.

A big thank you to everyone who liked my builds and voted or them, a do feel........shocked.

I must a huge thank you Logan Hartke for his beautiful profile that inspired the Panther, I was very worried it wouldn't live up to his profile.

Thanks to those behind the scenes who setup these awards, I know just how much work there is involved.

Again thank you everyone...now I'm going to have a wee lay down........

PR19_Kit

What a great Show, as usual, and thanks to tc2324 and the rest of the Academy for the VAST amount of work that went into the setting up of the classes, the sorting of the judging and the Show itself.

I must admit that I thought the aerobatic airship display above the entrance to the Hall was quite outstanding and the work of genius. But it was a pity that the smoke-generating crew aboard #3 seemed to have forgotten that they'd reverted to hydrogen as a lifting gas for this one display. I'm told the crew only suffered second degree burns though........

And of course HUGE congrats to all the winners, I was pleased that many of them were on my fave's  list.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Congratulations to all the (other) winners - great achievements against great fields!

I'd like to thank tc2324 for all the effort he has put in throughout the year, especially over the last few weeks. It can't have been easy but the result has been a wonderful show this year!

I'd like to thank all my whiffing comrades who voted for me ... but there weren't any.

Instead, I'd like to thank PR19_Kit for the honour of being nominated into a category which, unfortunately, ended up with only one entry (Come on guys, spread your talent out a bit!).

Now, where's the Party?

Congrats to tc2324 for another outstanding show.  Nice to see my little bit of craziness continuing on so well.

Also congrats to all the winners and was nice to actually have a nomination this year.  I have several in the works so who knows, maybe I can win a whiffie yet.
