Anyone going to this one?  We will be there, its our 'home' show!

Nick

I asked to go along but wasn't allowed time off work. Apparently my boss thinks we'll be busy on Mothers Day despite previous years being dead quiet.

Excellent!  I thought you guys weren't coming for a minute!  I shall see you there - not sure where we'll be yet.

To be honest I preferred the show when it was on a Saturday and in the Town Hall. I know why it moved, understand why and can appreciate that for most it's better. However public transport on a Sunday can be fun. For a start assuming the trains are running and not being replaced by a bus, they don't start until latter and aren't as frequent. Then when I get there I have to get a taxi from the station to the venue before the long drag home. Can normally get a lift back to the station but still feel like I'm impinging. So MK and Peterborough are about my limit for a one day trip and to be honest I really do have to feel like it. Even Southern takes me 2 hours or so each way because of the need to go into town and then out again.

Anyway have a good one lads
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

it was a good show.

especially satisfying was bagging 2 Revell Hunter F.6 for £7 each. OGL had to tell me to cover them up as he could have resold them several times over. :) :)

You could easily get three time that amount for them going by some of the bids I have seen an ebay

How I WISH they'd re-pop the darn things!
