What Hank said. ^^

A darn good show I thought, and our bit of it was exceptionally good with a large variety of models. Well done the teamwork that enabled us to put on TWO shows many hundreds of miles apart on the same day.

But I was KNACKERED by the time I got home this evening, my 'short snooze' afterward lasted until 11.30pm!  ;D

Great day at M.K. yesterday even if it was a tad cold in the hall we were in. Some great stuff on display and a credit to the S.I.G. in that we could put on displays at 2 shows on the same day, not many could do that. Well done to all. Bit knackered when I got home after getting up at 5:30 and being at a Golden Wedding the night before.

It was good to see so many of the lads, to catch up,  confuse the odd stray punter, amuse and delight many more, to plot, to exchange ideas and bounce them off one another. The latter is one of the best aspects of attending a show in my view.

One of our younger members certainly had a good show.  Max, Hanks young son, picked up two bronze medals in the Junior competition class. Well done Max.

By the way I may have confused some by suggesting  a 1/8th scale kit of a Dauntless was soon to be available. I was wrong, it's 1/18th by Hobbyboss !

So here's my photo's from the Milton Keynes show yesterday. Apologies if I missed anybodie's, but there were a lot to get in ! I'm afraid I didn't take my camera around the halls but I think others did. It was good to see that most of the club stands had at least one wif on them and many had more. So our side of the hobby is growing.

These wonderfull caricatures were on the stand next door to us. Mike McEvoy had put them on one of his associated club stands as they are real world rather than wifs !

My favourite of the day. The story of Scruggs Aerospace. Had a wonderfull chat with the gentleman responsible for this late in the day.

Finally one of our members inadvertently (he says ) put a real world build on the table. Can you spot it ?

I forgot to post my own pics up (sorreeee) the day after the show, but better late than never.

First up, NARSES2 blessing the SIG display at the start of the show:

And some table shots:

And finally:

Chris looks very pleased with himself in a sort of 12-year old schoolboy post curry-plus-several-illicit-pints sort of way.  Mike is somewhat surprised by what has happened and is stifling a 'I disapprove of that sort of behaviour but it was actually really one I'd be proud of' giggle.  Kit meanwhile looks on disapprovingly.  And rightly so.  What you did Chris wasn't big and it wasn't clever.  Whatever it was.

Nice shots mate, especially Hurricane corner.

How many can spot the real world interloper ?  ;D

Dunno, but posting up the pics has revived my Dagger Hurricane idea.

I never did spot the RW model there Chris. Go on, spill the beans please.

I love the idea of a Dagger Hurricane Dave, please do it, and soon too.

Would the real world build be one of the Italian 109's?
