Here are some new pics I took last weekend while the weather was still good.

By next year my airfield pics will have Luftwaffe airfield carts added to them, I just got my kits of the airfield carts in the mail on Friday.
These carts should really help my pictures look more like the real thing.

:)  Surprisingly, last week-end was 1945... :)  Who could disagree? The photographs prove it! :)

Thanks for the comments Tophe!

By next year some of the small details that are missing from my pictures will be added. Things like airfield carts, work platforms for the ground crew, wheel chocks, more buildings, and more figures will help the overall look of my pictures and make them more realistic looking.

I also have many interesting models planned to be built next year that should be fun to photograph.

Friday while preparing to spray the fuselages of a couple of my Ta 183 models with AlcladII as I was shaking the bottle of Alclad the BB inside the bottle caused the glass bottle to shatter and AlcladII spilled over the models, my work table and myself.
So much Alclad spilled on one fuselage that it ate away some of the plastic and pretty much ruined it, it will still look allright on the right side but the left side of the fuselage is in very bad shape. I will still finish this model and use it in the background of my pictures.

Thanks JHM!

These airfield pics are getting close to what I had in mind when this project was started early last spring, over the winter months I will be making small improvements here and there to the photobase and at the same time build better models so by next spring or summer I will be able to post some pictures that will look more convincing than what I have done so far.

Allan

Hi Matrix,

How's the TA-183 coming along?

NARSES2

I've been trying to think of something different to say since I first looked at these pic's, but I can't as I think I've used all of the superlatives before - and then the man talks about adding those "small details" to make it more realistic !

Mike M was musing in a Tail Piece about someone in a 100 years or so finding WIF plans and thinking they were real - well someone will find these photo's in an archive a 100 years or so on from now, and heaven knows what rumours that will start !

keep up the amazing work

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Allen, NARSES2, and nev, thanks for the more than kind words!

Allen,
My two Ta 183s are turning O.K. but not as good as I planned on, one of the Ta 183s was badly damaged by AlcladII being spilled on it from the bottle breaking last Friday. I still might save that model from being a dud, it is still too early to say how good or bad this model might turn out.

BTW, that AlcladII is great stuff! Anybody doing NMF models should give this product a try, just be sure to be careful shaking the bottle before using it or you might have a nasty surprise when the bottle shatters!

As always, lookin' good, Matrix !

Thanks Captain Canada!

I like how my pictures look now but I am SO SICK of posting pics of all my old builds, this winter I will be working very hard at making new models to photograph for next spring and summer. In order to practice and improve my photography and photo editing I needed to use my old models as the subjects for my photos.

Here is another new pic of an old model...

Allan

Well Matrix,
All I can say is that I am at a loss as to how you weave your magical spell on those models,

Quotethose models,
They are not models, they are actual machines! That's photographilly proven!

Allen and Tophe, thanks for the comments and for looking at my work.

I have a lot of work ahead of me trying to improve the airfield and there is never enough time as I need to do all the things I have in mind so I have to be very selective in my modeling projects. Maybe by next spring some new ground vehicles and/or buildings will be finished.

I'm waiting for the day a couple of RAF Mosquito's appear overhead and strafe the flightline. ^_^

Beautiful models
