Right at the start of that amazing sequence of the Me-163 there's a glimpse of an enormous Do-X model, and here's a vid  of it doing its thing at the same show. It's got TWELVE motors and retract gear that rather cleverly turns it into an amphibian.

What I am waiting for is someone to put a webcam in the cockpit of a large RC model and connect the controls to a PC that allows you to fly it with the help of the PC.  A sort of "fly-by-wire[less]" system, so you can see what the pilot would see and still control the model...
