For those who are interested, I wanted to keep the anti-tank missile capability of the Marder turret but I didn't want to use Milan, so here we have my interpretation of a mount for a Javelin ATGM.

Don't know about "brilliant", Fred.

There are more joints (all with locking levers) on this than you can poke a stick at for all the axes of tilt - even the commander's wire-cutter has a lever that he can pull up to allow the post to be folded forward so he can use the Javelin system as it is meant to be, as a shoulder fired weapon.
