"They're selling hippy wigs in Woolworths, man. The greatest decade in the history of mankind is over and there's going to be a lot of refugees"  ;)

I'm almost glad I caught it by nine months.

Well I was 16 in 1968 and started work. Was never a "hippy" type much more a skin/suede head with my two tone tonic mohair suits which cost more than a months salary  Was watching George Gently the other night and the episode was set in 68. Bachus had a two tone Harrington jacket exactly like the one I had  ;D

The Magic Number GB.

Here's a nice open wide one: any model/profile/story related to the number three. It might be a three-engined conversion of an existing plane, or a two or four engined conversion of a three-engined one. It might be a three fuselage/boom version of a double or single one. It might be a ship with three hulls, or three turrets, or a tank with three turrets or three guns.

But H, surely 23 is the magic number...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Anniversary builds tend do pretty well (like Battle of Britain)

Some significant anniversaries in 2016:

75th for Pearl Harbor attack. Plenty of land/sea/air ideas.  Perhaps that could finish on December 7th.
25th of Gulf War 1
25th of  Soviet Union dissolution

I also re-nominate my "oh-snap!" GB idea.  Kit basis must be a snap kit, extra credit for those really basic cheap kits we did as kids (and adults  ;))  I am sure some of the talent on here could really do a number on some of those.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

That's got potential: the Airfix Angel Interceptor is a snap kit....

In 2017 we commemorate 100 years of Soviet Revolution. What about a Soviet GB?

If you want civilian options, a three-wheeled car or three-wheeled motorbike would fit right into this of course.

You could modify a Revell Trabant into a three-wheeler as the eternal victim of that well-known East German comic character, Herr Bean....

How about a "Ten Year" Group Build (with a possible two year extension). Might just get something finished in time.

I second this.  Can we have the extension now please?

Otherwise 'Vice/Versa - Piston to jet/jet to piston etc' and 'Frog/Novo/Old kit based' would get my votes
