I've bought this one last saturday during the Heiden expo in Germany. Few parts, short run: too tempted to begin it!!!

Content of the box: the plastic parts (short run)

Canopies... Transparents? Well... Let say yes...

Some resin parts are furnished

And a nice decal sheet for what-if versions.

...I will not use a deco of the box anyway...

I've decided to build a monoplace; so I will not use the bazooka included in the kit

First, obturation of the copilot's cockpit with a part included in the kit

...Not good fitting...

As the canopy is not really transparent I decided to represent the Avrocar with opene canopy. Some researches on the Web and Have cut the part

Parts are all removed from sprue (plastic) and carrots (resin)

Evergreen for the cockpit trap

...Fitting perfect!

Broken parts are repaired

...And placed

Seat is a little bit damaged when removed from the carrot

So: Evergreen

For the copilot's hub: Miliput + cyano

Compound for the canopy. Looks from far better now

Cockpit is placed inside as also a pitot.

Draken35

Miliput + cyano sanded

And then, I have to correct a big mistake: if you place auvents as they are made, they are outside of the Avrocar! Not good at all...
Correction is absolutely necessary

Better now...

Black primer for AK Xtreme Metal is airbrushed and reveals that the copilot's emplacement remains visible.

...Question: what to do if something cannot be hidden?

Answer: SHOW IT!!!

With acrylic paint for tissue, I have represented rivets. It's like technicians had just placed a metal plate on the hub...

...I like the result...

I've seen a few of these built up at shows I've been to recently, and they do look good.

I knew Fly did a couple of boxing's of racing saucers but hadn't seen this boxing

There's a Czech whif version!?  :o

Thank you all!

Well yes, a Czech one but also Polish, Italian, Américan, Canadian, Japanese and German

Looking at that last photo has got me thinking about a Stargate version with hieroglyphics around the circumference.
Also got me thinking about doughnuts.  Mmmmmmmmmmm

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Y'know, I don't believe I have seen a build report of this kit. It's not the top of my list, but I'm always attracted to unusual types, and this qualifies. Many thanks for writing this up.
All hail 1:72!
