As the new Rotorcraft Wasp resin kit is still in development, would anybody have either the Airwaves or C-Scale 1/72nd Wasp conversion sets available for the Airfix Westland Scout ?

Cheers

You'll be lucky.........

And you'll need a Lottery win to pay for it, it took me YEARS to find a C-Scale Wasp conversion, and it was expensive back then.

It's not impossible to scratch a Wasp from a Scout, Alan hall did it an a 1970s Airfix mag, but he used FOUR Hudson tailwheel legs and four more wheels from another kit, so when I did one I used Caravelle wheels and folded Micro-strip for the legs. it was a very fiddly job though, the darn thing's TINY.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I had bought the Airwaves one from my LHS years ago, and when I finally found a kit at a little hobby shop in Hamilton, I could not find the set ! I'm guessing I have either already given it away, or it was lost in the move, or my over zealous collection of this and that has hidden it forever.
