I'm a bit surprised as well, by a few doing well, and a few doing poorly that I would have thought would have been clear vote getters.  I won't say which....

Goes to show we have a wider range of interests than you would perhaps think.

My personal thought on this is that it shouldn't be, after all, there are so many to chose from!

As this was one of my submissions I'd better spell out what I had in mind. I was thinking of it covering any historical Empire you care to choose. We can discuss what constitutes an Empire if it gets enough votes.
