Bungle, that face shows as "Angry" so I took it as that rather than a sad face.

Gondor

Ah yes I see now. Damn this new fangled technology (no I don't do Twitter / Facebook, no I cannot program the video recorder and the 'new' car has too many buttons, bells and whistles). Again my apologies it looked sad to me. Perhaps the angry icon could be a picture of my wife red faced with an axe in her hand - now that's angry.

Not to worry, I just spent some time helping my father who is in his eighties, find and fit a new printer.

Age is irrelevant, unless you are a cheese or a malt whisky  (or, as my solicitor insists, a vintage port)

It's handy for bus passes etc.   ;)

Port is different.  Just 'cause it's old doesn't mean its good.  You have to have the right year.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Right - I've had enough of this ageism.  I'm old and getting older every day. I have lost hair were I wanted it and I'm growing hair where I don't. With the car dead and buried I've found out I'm not old enough to get a bus pass yet but the bus driver charged me the Pensioners price for my trip to work (so I must look decrepit).

I certainly agree with the comment about Port... you can keep your malts give me a decent Port anyday (never bought from a Supermarket).

Anyway as promised photos of the Defiant under pressure. Actually the new Airfix kit goes together rather well. The need for the grips is that I have weighted the nose (and the front of the floats) to hopefully getting her to sit forward on the floats and not be a tail sitter (if you know what I mean [if you do please explain it to me])

Not sure if this one will show you to much but the cockpit if nicely laid out with side wall detail and all. I've added seat belts and picked out the details in paint. Can you see ? .... no I thought not.

Last night I managed to finish the floats

and got them attached to the fuselage......

Haven't dared turn her over yet in case my weights idea turns out to be under done. Let me have one more day of happiness.

Now one last problem to attend to..... picking the 'new' car up on Saturday so will spend most of the time polishing and whatever but now I hear the weather is going to be good this Sunday and SWMBO has decreed friends will come over for a bbq.

Nooooooooooooooooooo ! It's a one week build ! doesn't she understand - One week including Sunday, the one day I'll need to finish it off.

She's making arrangements, I'm making a model - SWMBO vs What-If who will win ?

I  can see your mono-float option came from a Rufe, but where do the twin-floats come from please? They certainly suit the Defiant.
