One week Canberra Interceptor(s)

Hope I can contribute something to the one - week build.
Ancient Frog B(I)8 taken from stache, to be combined with Freightdog's conversion set for an early version of the Canberra P.12 fighter project:

Looking good. That nose and wing combo would look good on an all-weather intruder style Canberra, like the Pakistani B-57B.

Which is what I'm very slowly making progress on, but it will be an interceptor.  Started last year, probably finished next year!

The RAF were anxious to develop the new interception techniques needed to use missile technology, so a rushed order was placed for a dozen English Electric P.12 Canberras, named F.(AW).24, using B.(I).8 wings for early delivery. The missile armament was to be the large, radar guided Red Dean. Fears about the missile's reliability made retention of the 4x20mm cannon pack wise.
11 Squadron was chosen as the unit to receive the new aircraft:

Red Dean proved to be over-weight, over-complicated and unreliable, but the Canberras were useful for many years as trials aircraft.
The P.12 concept was developed using PR.9 wings and engines, and as the F.(AW).25 served for many years - but that is for the next modelling project.

When you see it in place on an aircraft it does make you realise

Wow. I love the look of this one ! Looks so right with that nose, camo, arms and markings ! Great job, and I think I finally know a direction to go with mine !
