On the Saturday evening is a talk by former Phantom pilot Mike Pugh-Davies. Not sure how that ties in with WW1 but it adds a layer of interest

I have an inkling of a germ of a possible concept, and it will encompass:
- an ancient Hasegawa "F-4K" kit I got cheap (as it should be)
- numerous Royal Flying Corps decals from the spares box
- a finish in some variant of PC-10 and doped linen
- guns. Obviously we need guns. Not quite Chico-level, but still.

Bring on tomorrow morning!

I think I need to visit the local supermarket and stock up on Red Bull to ensure I meet the deadline...

Apologies for the lack of comments, I've just been so caught up with the build! It's going together very well and I think I'll be very happy. I'm about to crack the mould for the Spey cans (kit didn't have them, thanks to Alastair for them and the originals will be saved for a proper build) and paint is going on!
