Assuming we're not taking into account GB Summer Time: I shall be ready to commence construction in 12 hrs & 12 minutes ... but who's counting? ;D

1st of June where ever you are is go

Yeah!  I do like the idea of starting and ending groups builds with the time zone "wherever you are" as the clock that matters-  this may avoid the confusion of GMT, forum time, moderator time, local time etc.  I guess out Kiwi friends gets the first crack- not aware of any forum members from Kiribati or Tonga......

After all it's five o'clock somewhere right?

Let the fun begin.

Well it's 28 minutes past here. Maybe five o'clock somewhere just west of Shannon...........

I'm going to attemp converting an F-82 into a torpedo armed floatplane. I'll be starting with the Monogram F-82G and a pair of vacuformed floats. Story will be something like the all black PBYs that attacked Japanese shipping get replaced by Allison engined aircraft the Army didn't want as their high altitude performance was lacking. Not a problem when making night torpedo runs. I know there are holes in that story but play along with me.

To be honest Dave it's the only one my brain can handle  Similarly finish time is local

I still have to find, order and receive the required torpedoes. I better get on that.

Gondor

I'm not going to be able to start anything until the weekend at the earliest. I certainly have one build planed, there is a possibility of another which has had a few pieces cut off the sprue and two parts cut. Could HMS Cumberland make a come back?

Mine are on hold until Tuesday (I hope) or shortly thereafter. :-\

I am working on models with the miniscule time available to me but I'm trying to clear the bench of the HMBLT & ASLAV1A2 before I start the Navy/Marines aircraft.

Decided what I'm going to build. For various reasons, one of which is I want to clear the work bench, I won't get started until early July so I'm going to build a Hasegawa Flying Pancake. The reworked Nelson will also be built in background but I doubt if she will get finished in the timescale.

The Pancake will be either FAA Indian Ocean, based on one of the smaller carriers or USN in the Atlantic with the grey/white scheme. I think I've worked out a way of using that scheme on the unusual shape

An F5U in post-WWII RN/NATO naval scheme should look interesting, too?  Great idea, and interesting aircraft.

Captain Canada

Glad this is going until August ! I'm really lagging here ! I need to have a session this week I hope !
