I bought that kit, opened it and put it into a spares box, so I congratulate you on tackling it and making something worthwhile out of the sow's ear  :thumbsup: Looks good.

Apparently I'm not the only one who thinks the Ki-61 looks somewhat Italian:

Nice paint scheme! What colors/tones are these?

I have plans for a Ki-61 in Italian colors, too - far in the future, but with a Hasegawa kit, for obvious reasons. I considered the Revell offering, too (comes cheap), but then I saw the sprues and silently put the box back again...
