Heh heh heh.  Thanks Brad.  :thumbsup:
Looks like she flew through the paint shop while they were cleaning out the spray guns.  Excellent.

I drew on a skull and bones and pattern in pencil today and painted the S&B white.  Tail, from the fold point back will be a different, single colour as though it has been taken from another chopper - as per Kit and Zac's suggestions.

There are loads of Wessexes at the Helicopter Museum that look JUST like that!  ;D

I think they must currently have the largest Wessex fleet in the world there.

I'm no good with computer stuff but I found the repeating pattern in the reddish version, changed it a bit & reversed the colours which got this;

That pattern hurts my eyes even as a still picture, and when I first accidentally and then purposefully scrolled the screen back and forth, it seems to writhe on its own accord.

Which means it's just about the perfect scheme ;D

The only problem will be finding the darn model once you've painted it.............  ;D

I've laid down a 4 cloud patchwork scheme.
One coat of each colour.  More to come.
Tail and undercarriage will be green.

And just in case anyone was wondering, this is a mock up of what a Wessex would look like with Banshee wings...

My question is "Why not?"
Something about that seems to fit.

Given that the engines are in the wing roots and not the fuselage Banshees make great wing donors.
