Unless she's one of the Sky Pirates. Then the damsels really are in distress ;D

I'm thinking she'll be Captain Fat Hamsters 2ic.

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

zenrat

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr me hearty.  Ye be correct there. Ye olde repeating cannonade, she be a beauty.

Those look pretty good Thorvic.

Glued some bits together today after getting carried away and making seat belts for all the seats I added in the back.
Being a Chinese knock off the fuselage had male pins on both halves and the fit is a little dubious.

That I've never seen

We live in a very progressive society, I'm pleased that male-tab-to-male-tab kits no longer have to hide in the shadows of one's stash any longer.

I don't know much about the Chinese governments attitude to same sex relations but I suspect they make the more rabid members of our coalition government look tolerant.  That might explain why the Wessex, an A10 and a Mystere all sought political asylum in my stash.  I haven't checked the other two for orientation - who knows, one of them could be a lesbian? :o

I checked out the other two Chinese Matchbox knock offs in my stash.
Both have Letraset style dry rub transfer copies of the original waterside decals and tubes of glue sealed in plastic bags BTW.
The Mystere IV has male locaters on one half and nothing on the other - not even bosses where holes should be (and it looks good with MiG 21 wings).
The A10 on the other hand has the hetronormative arrangement of male locators on one half and female on the other.

Ah yes, but do they line up with each other?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

I had a few knock off Hawks with those little tubes of glue. If Customs had opened them it could have got interesting. When they'd come down from the ceiling that is  The smell took me way, way back to my childhood. "Honestly M'Lud I only opened the tube for nostalgic reasons "  ;D

I'm tempted to try using the transfers.  Not so sure about the glue.
Nose & tail are now attached so its PSR time...

Commenced masking so I could put on a coat of primer to aid adhesion and see where to put the filler.
Stopped masking and re-attached the window that popped out...

Now allowing glue to dry.
