Its masked but I then decided to attach the wheels and winglets before priming.

Frikkin huge spats as well.
Keeping it all in the family they are from the Matchbox Lysander I used for the Wowhawk.

I've just held the weapons KiwiZac sent me against the winglets.
They are a bit on the big side but will go OK with bit of fettling and an adaptor rack.

PSR is, I think done.  Now for some white undercoat and then some paint.  I need to scheme up a suitably weird camo scheme.  So far all I have is that it'll have a big skull and bones on the nose.
Maybe one of these (Andy Warhol) colour mixes...

...but in a pattern similar to this Skoda Turtle.

The last set of colours looks like the turtle mix and is very disruptive !

Put them all on there, on different panels. Then NO-one will figure out what it is!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Maybe No.2, possibly with ochre instead of white? :-\

That way you've got blues for the sea, yellow for what few beaches there are & ochre for the land  ... & maybe swap the blues around (not a lot of shallow water in the Big Aussie Bite ;) )

This! Although perhaps with a backstory of parts cannibalised from other examples, hence the mismatches?

Still grokking the colours but I did paint it all with white undercoat today.
I do like the different panels idea except for the fact that i've sanded off a lot of what passed for raised panel lines and i'm not a big fan of complete rescribing (not in 1/72 anyway).

I tried to colour the FSX Wessex in those cam's but it didn't come out very well.
