Idea is good, but I'd reduce wing depth - it blocks rotor downwash and makes the whole thing ineffective, and with the wings added you need less uplift in forward flight, the rotor already adds a lot. The overall concept is nice, though, should look dangerous in hardware form. As a Marines gunship, maybe...?

Then there was the Sikorsky Rotor Systems Research Aircraft (RSRA).



It could test various rotor systems including the X wing.

In first photograph, there is no rotor. Is that ok? or is it photoshoped?

It could fly without rotors like a fixed wing ac or have different experimental rotors installed. It had the engines and trans of a Seaking above the cabin.

You could tidy up that nose installation a bit and have one engine driving either the rotors or the prop via clutch. Not something that's usually an option, but the S-55/S-58 layout makes it possible.
