As I said in post #47, worth a Whiffie nomination of anyone's money, and duly done.

MAGNIFICENT work Dizzy, and Flyer as well for the original idea.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Thank you very much, gentlemen, highly appreciated.

That thing was a challenge, but rewarding. I am amazed how good the result looks, esp. in the beauty pics, with some scneic background.
And, more noteworthy, there seem to be more interpretations (2, AFAIK?) of the Fw-190-VTOL-tail-sitter theme in the pipeline!? Curious to see other approaches to Flyer's concept.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Excellent work Dizz although I do think the proportions in Flyer's drawing are better than in your model.  But i've always been partial to long noses and stumpy tails.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yep, agree. The original tail is shorter and was more span/less sweep - I used parts I had at hand, hence the "A-1" variant designation.

;D In WhiffWorld you can always change the backstory to suit how the model comes out.

That was the plan and the intention - and I did not want to build a true copy of Flyer's design, rather an interpretation that is true to the concept and with what I had at hand. After, all, it's whifworld, and in the end I am the one who must be happy with it. Anything else is of secondary concern.  <_<

Fantastic execution to this one, it will get my vote in the Whiffies this year  ;D I designed something fairly similar to this myself some months back. Well done
