Wow!  That looks great!

Where'd this one come from?  I've heard no word of it previous to yours.  No rumors or hintings.  Those sprue shots are outstanding.  Lots of little bits look to be quite fiddly in their assembly but the detail resulting looks great.

Thanks for sharing word of it here!

Looks very nice indeed. Interesting take on the radiators and lots of options, looks as if there will be enough spare parts to furnish the office of another spit too. Spare canopy for the cut down rear fuselage as well so a low back IX/XVI on the cards as well?

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

The Wooksta!

If their previous form with regards to their 48th Spits is owt to go by, look forward to a mk VIII (which will need new fuselage and wing sprues), a mk IXe (new wing sprue) and a mk XVIe (new fuselage and wing sprues).  The modular nature makes a great deal of sense and the sheer volume of spares make it superb value for money.

It was announced in January - at least, that's when I heard of it.  Some sprue shots have been about for a month or so, but these are the most detailed I've seen yet.

My wallet is really dreading all the Spitfire releases this year - Eduard, AZ/KP, Sword - but my LHS is planning a holiday to Mars on the takings.

Try the higher page numbers.  I think it's one of those that has newer posts on page one, rather than at the back.

Go to the last two pages!

Captain Canada

Thanks ! Page 11 has the sprue shots ( wow ) and 12 the instructions. What a detailed kit ! That could be turned into a real stunner. Love the different tanks and the way the clear sprue is made.

It looks as if it's a Mk IX kit, plus an upgrade kit for any other Spitfire you have in stock.

Woh! :o

For a small model that is a remarkably complex & detailed kit!

Well done, Eduard!

Its good to see them doing more in the one true scale. ;D
If it's as good as their Bf110 it'll be a cracker.
Now, how about a 1/72 MiG 21 next Eduard...
