Last week at the Future of Flight/Boeing Tour in Everett, WA, a peak behind the curtains while they were preparing a new display.
The models in boxes are eight 1/100 models from Pacific Miniatures that I epoxied together for their display, they didn't want little
hands to be able to pull parts off.  737-800, 737-MAX8, 747-8i, 767-300F, 777-300CR, 777-9X, 787-8 and 787-10.
;)
I still haven't seen the completed display, probably go over next week.

The 777-9X is freakin' enormous, the new wing is very different from the original and the engine nacelle diameter is mind-boggling.
Here's a shot of the assembled 1/100 model with a 1/100 Tamiya Mig-19:

And for Mr. Long-wings, the EC-003 that's hanging in the gallery:

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Yep, they're big and even bigger on the 777X, fan diameter is 134 inches, making it the largest yet.

Oh yes, they're getting there.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yeah, the Pac-Min desktops are nice, the majority are a resin fuselage with one-piece injection
moulded ABS wings. The 777X was all resin, my guess is they're still getting the wing tooling
made, the two 737s all ABS with one piece fuselages, not a sink mark in sight. They must have
some serious moulding machines. The paintjobs are all aviation spec paint for topcoats and clear
coats. Smooth and hard.

Assembling them was straightforward (I milled a series of hemispherical pockets into both sides of
the wing tenons and fuselage mortises to aid the epoxy in locking the parts in place), but a bit stressful,
which I suppose is to be expected when handling several thousand dollars worth of models that belong
to someone else.
;D
