As the subject line says. I have a vacform canopy that has yellowed a bit. Anyone know of a way to deal with this.

Will the sunlight trick work as for transfers. And I don't mean the soap of old  ;D

The Wooksta!

No.  It's a chemical reaction in the plastic itself.  Once it's started, it won't stop until it's a lovely golden brown.

I've had a yellowed canopy on a sunny window sill for ages (over a year) and it's definitely improved it, but it hasn't made the yellowing go away completely.

You do live in the North West Harold. That may explain it with the general lack of sunlight up there  ;D

Seriously, thanks lads.

It's not to bad and I'll need it in the next week or so. I've a load of spare canopies in the spares bunker so I'll look through those. In all honesty I've a distinct feeling that if the type had gone into production it would have got a new canopy. Far to much framing on the actual one used.
