But im very certain you will like it.

After careful consideration and a look at my bank balance I will not be attending this years Telford show. I will however pass on a few models to Joe to take to the show on my behalf as well as the kits earmarked for Lee.

Well given that I just had a week of paid employment for the first time in a while, with the promise of more to come, my attendance at the show on both days is now guaranteed (I was considering doing just one day to save money).  :thumbsup:

Commuting. The drive's not so bad that it's worth the hassle and cost of finding a hotel room.

Yup. Hotels on or near the site can be difficult to get even a year in advance. Had a real problem this year and just got into the Premier Inn by the station in Jan. All others were booked solid  :banghead:

Going to try to book 2017 before the 2016 show this year  :o As soon as the hotel opens its books

I've given up trying to find hotels up there at sensible prices.

Thank goodness the 'RAF's Best Air Traffic Controller' only lives 15 miles or so away and as she and her husband are buying their own house up there soon I'll be in clover for accommodation for some years I suspect.  :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

My son is about an hour and a little bit away which could work, but then I do so like meeting up with the guys on the Friday and Saturday evenings. It brings some reality into my modelling life, which is at the best of times pretty unreal as it is!  :rolleyes:
