Not sure how to explain what I get on my cell phone, but for the home page I get everything on the left of the home page up to the left edge of the logo. But when I try to resize the view it doesn't expand and it won't move over so I can view the other side of the home page. So the 'logout' button doesn't appear.

I have an LG3 which is android powered if that helps

On my Samsung Android phone the What If Modelers logo doesn't resize to fit the top of the page. The text and forum boxes are fine further down but the top is not right.

It's a little petty, but there still isn't a 'total views' feature, which was present in the old site, this new site only has current viewing figures, sorry to be a pain in the proverbial  ;D

I don't actually understand what you are asking for. Topics have a "total views" count. I don't believe posts have a view count.

Sorry for being useless at explaining  ;D

Here it shows current viewing figures as aposed to the total number of views the page/topic thingy has received since being first published  <_<

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

It's all working fine for me: thanks again!

It's right at the top of the thread :-

That looks like the desktop site, on my iPhone with iOS 9.whatever we're on now, as it appears that your viewing figures and my viewing figures are in the same part of the website, just that they're different

Where are my Sent Messages - I mean private messages.

I have "Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default." selected in my settings. I cannot find the Sent Items. I don't send or receive PMs all that often but there should be some sent ones too.

Left click on the 'Messages' on the left just above the maon title bar and an option menu pops up as below.

Minor issue that I noticed weeks ago then forgot about.  The time on my forum clock is eight hours slow.  On the old forum there was an offset in your account settings, but I can't find it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

That's in your "Profile" under "Modify Profile" then under "Look and Layout"

Will have to see if the system remember at the next login.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Clicking the Auto Detect link got my clock right.
The Forum time indication confused me. I thought that was supposed to be my time, but it must actually be some USA time zone.

overscan

Yes, the old forum was set to the wrong time completely (GMT) given the server is located in the US. Everyone who had the correct time before must have manually set the offset to some value their time was correct. When the new forum was set to Vegas time, everyone needed to change their offset.

Thanks guys, I didn't spot the 'Modify Profile' menu before.  Worked great!

When I prod the "Show replies to your posts" I get a lot of threads I've not commented on. Is this fixable?

chrisonord

I am sure I am not the only one here that would appreciate this idea if it came to fruition, could we possibly have a way of putting our pictures directly onto our threads, as I have become a victim of Photobucket removing a huge stack of my pictures, for no apparent reason. At least if we can put them straight on here, they are "safe"
