Gives me time for a quickey.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Cool. Helldiver ?

Seagull.  Old Hasegawa kit (one of the ones with the good box design).  Floats used previously so i'll be knocking up an undercarriage.

Had a similar idea a while ago... kit is there and stashed away, but no drive to tackle the project, though.

Huge Lysander spats should look good under the rather massive Seagull?  ;)

NARSES2

Box art of that period certainly helped move the kits
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

They would.  But I don't have any.
I'm using some unidentified struts form the parts box and Wessex wheels.

Because you used the Lysander parts on the Sky Pirates Wessex. ;)

Correctamundo.  I think the only parts left are the wings, horizontal tails and the engine.

A few licks of paint on this today and words have been coming out of my fingers.

As you can see, a simple paint job.
I'm not decided on the engine.  I'm tempted to replace the 550hp Wasp with a 2200hp Double Wasp but feel it may be a little over the top...

'There ain't no substitute for cubic inches'!  ;D

Except maybe a turbo-charger.....  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
