Awesome modelling of a significant event.

I can recall mention of it in the aviation press at the time, and was amazed that the radome didn't come right off the airframe. If it had the landing may have been possible.

Airfix`s 1/24 scale offering, presented in my own way for a bit of fun.

A great size reference photo which also highlights my JD intake these last few days......

Good heavens, it's NOT a 74 Sqdn. aircraft!  :o

It looks amazing though, and I'm trying to imagine just how big it is, never having seen a 1/24 Typhoon fully built before.

Excellent.  The rocket exhaust looks fantastic.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

That does look good  and it's the first one I've seen built in a flying configuration. Well done

I just did the same thing, and saw some that I'd missed first time around.

AMAZING stuff tc, very creative indeed, and I'm minded to try something similar, but with Whiffs and then I don't have to look up the actual incidents.  ;D
