I have an Airfix 1/24 Typhoon up for grabs. Kit is complete, undanaged and sprues are still  inside internal poly bags. Box is in good condition and is undamaged. It has however suffered a paint spill on its exterior which, has in no way affected the contents. £60 + £10 postage.  Payment by PayPal preferred. Am open to offers

I'll take the engine off your hands but then I doubt you'd shift the rest.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Can the kit be made without the engine....all buttoned up....? I'm thinking really exhausts n visible radiator......happy to come to an arrangement Zenrat.......if it can be made....?

I'd be building it into a land speed record car so i'd need neither the exhausts nor radiators from the aircraft.
I suppose it all depends on if Airfix engineered it so it could be built with an empty nose.

Sabre-powered LSR car  :o

The Napier Lion was used in record cars before WW2 so I see no reason (other than sanity) why the Napier Sabre shouldn't be used in one after it.

Well some of the Napier Sabre 7's were bench tested to 5500hp, couple of those should do the trick -----  they only have to last the two runs right  ?
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Survive two runs accomplished within an hour for an FIA class record.
So than means you have to get the car prepped, setup etc., with test
runs before you make the attempt so that hopefull it'll all work come
the day. Then you have to make a fast enough first run to make a second
run worthwhile, if you get that, and  the engine(s) survive, you have to do fuel,
oil, cooling system (if used on piston engine car), tire changes (likely on
wheel-driven vehicles) etc., etc. and get back through the traps again at speed all within that one
hour timeframe. It's a tight schedule and many things can go wrong.
