I don't know if anyone else ever had the same problem I do, trying to get the PE parts to stay in place while the glue sets.  :banghead:
So earlier this week i was carefully trimming off the little gates, the tiny piece of metal that hold the parts on the brass sprue, when I suddenly realized that if I left the little piece on the bottom of the part in place, then drilled a tiny matching hole in the model, that would be like a alignment pin. I tried it and glory be and hallelujah, it makes it so much easier!

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

I've just done something similar with resin individual prop blades. Left and then trimmed part of the attachment point, then drilled a hole in the spinner. Why I never thought of it before  :banghead: Much easier then holes in spinner and blade and a small bit of wire
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
