A lycoming engine conversion might also be good for the Chipmunk.

Now that would be nice.  A quick(ish) nose job conversion.

And later on a new canopy for the single seat glider tug versions might be possible
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

The Wooksta!

Resin swept wings and tail surfaces to convert the AZ Attacker to a Supermarine 510?

Or how about the mooted and much delayed two stage Merlins for the Tamiya Mosquito?

Martin mid upper turret for late Lancasters.

Another possibility for the Chipmunk, later RAF machines (include the BBMF aircraft) had some modifications to the engines, that are reflected externaly in a few extra tubes.  The Airfix kit is the earlier Chippy, so if you do the BBMF decal option it's not 100% accurate.  Not difficult to scratch, but it might be worth offering a conversion?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'll echo that - especially with FAP decal sheet:

Still on the trainer theme, Jet Provost T.51 conversion for the Airfix T.3.  Used in small numbers by Ceylon and Kuwait, it was an armed version of the JP before the Strikemaster came along, would be good for whifs as well since it's not well known.

I think it's pretty straight forward, some gun fairings on the intakes, pylons for rockets and bomblets.

Iraqi JP T.52's also carried weapons, I've seen a pic of what I think are SURA rockets, I think this was used for weapons training rather than combat like the T.51.

Another idea, F11F-1F Super Tiger conversion for the Hasegawa F11F kit.  New canopy, spine, intakes and rear fuselage/exhaust.

As well as the brightly painted prototypes, it's got a lot of whiff potential.  I've got the Ginter book, again willing to lend it if needed.

I always thought the turbo-chippy would look good with the RCAF bubble canopy and retractable gear.

A lycoming engine conversion might also be good for the Chipmunk.

Or a Chipmunk crop-duster conversion

Fighter Chippy! Reminds me of this one....

It looks a tad unbalanced. Should there be another piece of ordnance under the other wing?

Conformal cheek pods for converting the Boeing C-135 into the RC-135W or IAI Condor.
The E-7 Wedgetail conversion in 1/144.
The prices in 1/72 for both kits are expensive even secondhand.

I have conformal C-135 cheek pods in 1/72 in my stash.  Can't remember offhand who they were made by.

The company is 'Maintrack' but I don't know if they are still in production or who bought the moldings.
