Have a go at ostrich steak if you can find it, it's REALLY good. They had it here this time last year, but I can't find any now.  :banghead:

I had a Zebra steak a few years ago at a local pub. Difficult to tell whether it was well done with all those black and white stripes running through it! ;D I'll get my coat...

 ;D ;D ;D ;D

Alligator meat is one of those meats that's meant to be healthy. Low fat, low cholesterol etc. Apparently the eggs are quite often served up as well.

I was talking about cheese the other day and the only farm animal's milk cheese I haven't tried is pigs. And yes you can buy it. Our local cheese shop is going to try and get some in after we were talking about it. Mares cheese is particularly good.

That's one thing I've never done is try cheese from anything other than a cow.... MAYBE a goat. I never in a million years dreamed people would make PIG CheESe. Fascinating............. I wonder if anyone has ever made some dog cheese?

For anything without teats, actually getting anything out would be a bit of a mission?

I share your frustration with your paint problems. I've been having the same problems on several projects. Different paint products, different builds, different conditions, you name it same results. I have several projects sitting around until I figure out what to do to finish them. The only thing in common among these botched paint jobs is that I used hardware store spray paints and all but one of them had been sitting around for a couple years at least. No more hardware store paints on model projects any more!
As for the alligator meat? Maybe someday. I tried snake once. Tasted like a poor quality piece of fish. I'll stick with buffalo or elk.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I'm trying to imagine milking a pig...

Now, sows can be nasty - I'd rather tackle a Tiger than one of them!

Brother had pigs on the farm a long time ago and when the sows were with their piglets they were some of the nastiest animals I've ever met. I certainly kept a weather eye on them if called to water them. And water was all they really wanted as the piglets sucked them dry, poor things. I'm told that as all ? U.K. pigs are free range now they are a lot more docile, interesting definition of docile I would of thought

Sammy the boar on the other hand was as soft as a powder puff and daft as a brush  ;D

For a given value of 'Docile', one would imagine - and only by comparison...

But they do say to never get between a mother of any species and her young.

I have some friends that had a very large pig as a pet. I wouldn't mind having one. I wouldn't want a huge one, though. Just one of them mid-size furry ones that just kind of waddle around, grunt, and eat slop.  ;D

"Back to normal" today. I stopped even thinking about models for a few days to play some video games. Mad Max on PS4 is turning out to be a TON of fun. Today, though, I'm probably going to get started on the Pluto after a quick sand down of the caravelle and an attempt to get the Tristar back on track.

I've seen people out walking with pigs on leads

Seen any children on leads? I've seen it if a few times and I always snicker and kind of shake my head.  ;D

My two boys, when toddlers, were prone to darting off in all directions. A wrist strap, fastened to their wrist and mine, prevented them from dashing into danger................fortunately it wasn't needed for long.

I'd be the one that has them tied off to a tire or brick dragging it along. "It's for strength training and builds character!"   I've seen an entire children-chain. About 20-25 of them on one big line like fish on a stringer or even paratroopers hooked up before they bail out of a Dakota or something.  ;D  This was at a church, they cross the street to go to a playground. Whatever works I guess, but I maintain that it's funny looking and gets me every time I see it.  ;D

OH! Now, here's one......      how many times have you seen someone walking a cat?  ;D
