I can't wait to see all them weapons hangin'!!!  It's going to be glorious... all the fun of an A-10 loadout with a nuke thrown in for good measure.  ;D

Per the other stuff.... I guess I can try to schedule up some free time the same way I schedule a job and see how it goes.   Other than the mental problems another pressing issue is all these lawns! Since last year, I've not lost any and in fact added 2-3 new lawns and moved 3-4 from every two weeks to every 7 days so.... do the math... when I add in my FOUR lots it's like infinite mowing all the time and at the end of the day I'm so damn tired.  ;D    I kind of dig it, though.... getting lots of exercise, making money.... the fact that my back has gotten better and I can now do this stuff is great... etc. Lots of things to be optomistic about but maaaaaaaan there ain't enough time in the day to get everything done.  :o

And as you probably know that's better than having absolutely nothing to do.

Keep up the optimistic outlook and you'll be fine

Indeed, as troubling as it can be, I'm rather enjoying it at times... it's like.... having purpose and getting all the exercise is kind of neat, really.

Worked on the plane last night and had a bit of a break through. For the first time in a while I found myself wanting to EXTEND the length of the build. Instead of just wanting to get it done, I was like, "Oooh, ok, now I'm detail painting and doing a bit of weathering, this is kind of fun, I think I'll do some more weathering."  So... a little more focused on the fun and not just completing a task. More tonight I guess!  I counted up the lawns this week and it's something like 13-14 between Sunday and Saturday so it'll be slow progress still from being tired but I figure if I get something finished, no matter how small, each day, then I'm headed in the right direction.  OH YEAH, did I mention? Highs expected in the 104 degree neighborhood with humidity well about 50%.... this is later in the week and it's going to take a massive preperation effort to deal with it so my thoughts of possibly finishing this by the weekend might be out the window.  ;D

Alright, check this out... I have a plan. I've caught up a ton of my house chores... the yard is mowed... the truck is washed... and I've pre-prepped everything I need for work for the next two days in the over 100 degree over 50% humidity days. Tomorrow evening will be hobby time! I know I'll be busy during the day and tired when I get home but I won't have to spend extra hours doing chores, making meals, and getting things ready for the next day so I'm going to paint missiles, paint detail work, and clear coat the the F-16XL.

Do you allow yourself weekends?

Nope....  7 days a week now for 2 months straight and I see no end in sight. Ever so often I have a day where I don't mow anything but I always wind up using all that time getting house chores and errands caught up.

I got LUCKY the other day and was able to knock out 3 large yards in one day because of a break in the weather which lead to yesterday having no lawns so I got all the stupid house chores and some errands taken care of but it's back at it again from now to... who knows..  every time I think I MIghT have some free time something breaks, something is stolen, or I have new things to deal with like dumping hours of time into loan paper work, chasing down mowers, taking things to the shop. Right now my front breaks on the truck are grinding... I need to find time to put new pads on but... where?? I tried yesterday to at least buy the damn pads so I'd have them on hand but they were too expensive. My check for picking up garbage in June STILL isn't here. I need some help... like... a spouse, child, friend, something... that I could ask to help me take some of the load off but I'm trapped in a situation where if I don't do it, it don't get done and when things get backed up it creates a domino effect. Hell, I'm still sort of dealing with the delays caused by that other mowing breaking down and that was nearly 3 weeks ago. Like I said, I kind of got caught up Tuesday thanks to the cooler weather but there for 2.5 weeks I was just behind by a couple days the whole time.

Weird thing is.... when I'm not dealing with certain people that make things worse, I sort of enjoy it all... it's like playing a strategy game or something.  :o :o ;D

Rather you than me buddy.  But kudos for sticking to it.

I'd come and give you a hand with your brakes, but well, it's a bit far to drive.

Absolutely and especially more so when a fair chunk of your work is weather dependent. As the old saying goes "make hay whilst the sun shines".

Cheers....     I'll take it over the alternative. I try to remind myself a few times every week that I couldn't even walk 2-3 years ago and just getting a lawn every other day was pure torture and since my back has gotten better and sciatica went away I can run, hop, skip, and haul fekkn arse now and as a result I'm also getting my weight down, stamina and endurance up, and am able to work longer and longer and later and later each day even in the 100 degree weather so there's a definite plus side. Money coming in like mad, too, it's just so many bills, debts, and things needing handled it goes right back out but If I can just keep my mental state good and "people" don't come around wrecking and sabotaging things I think I'll be alright. Still..... August is coming....  ;D

That's true.... sometimes I'll have one thing scheduled but I throw that out the window to go mow lawn because the weather is allowing it. Like.....    if it's a cloudy day and I have two yards to mow I'll try to steal one from later in the week to also do that day.... like I did Tuesday.

ANYWAY...  GOOD things are finally starting to trickle in. It was a weird coincidence but the other morning I woke up from my sleep and took my prescriptions and as I was dozing back off I had the tele going down low but I heard just enough...... ."PPP loans extended to August 8"    I said, "Far out " and fell back asleep. Anyway... after I was officially up I shot the bank a message and asked if they were taking apps again and they were so they pushed my paper work through and I got the loan. Not much, though.....  I was hoping for a life changing amount but I got $1,800 measly dollars. Think I'm not happy about it, though? That's tire, brakes, a new mattress, and other stuff. I might even buy some sort of riding lawn mower. Some of this is forgiveable if I can prove I used it on business stuff.    ALSO.... the 10 day late check from garbage finally arrived so there's the money I've needed FINALLY.  To top it off??? It's cloudy today! Got work done on my model last night, too. I'm ready to throw transfers on it so it'll be done soon.

I shouldn't have said anything about things going well because my entire day was one disaster after another.  So many things went wrong. Everything went wrong. Things broke. It rained when it shouldn't have. More things broke. My bank took my money away. I made multiple wasted trips back and forth across town that netted nothing... so on and so forth. Go to mow lawn and rain hits. Try to open tailgate so I can take mower to next job and it breaks. Handle on the tailgate busted so I could no long load and unload my mower... womp womp I have three unfinished yards.  I start to mow the one I'm at when a dowpour comes along. I stop. I go across town to try to pick up trash hoping it's not raing as much there but it is. I go across the street to the Ford place to talk about my broken tailgate handle, bad brakes, and the fatality causing recall I keep putting off. My airbag is faulty and exlplodes with shrapnel like a claymore in an accident so I figure since it's a downpour I'd schedule it to get fixed but they said it would be $200 to put on brake pads?!!!? frak that.  go home and eat lunch. leave to parts store to buy the brake pads. Card declined. Why? I just got this frakking 1800 loan....  bank moved the money around without my knowledfe. I spend hour anf half or more driving around. I have cash but oops it's in the other vehicle which I'm not using because it broke. go across town...Hop in the yellow truck have to spend time airing up the tire with bike pump. Go across town. Other card declined.. no handle... no go across town again and since I switched vehicles and got confused I don't have gas.. go across town and get gas go back and blower won't work. Go back home and fiddle with bank account and found out that they I was right, they did put money in my accounts but then moved it all to one account. For some reson the business account debit card that I exctivated for some reason doesn't work though. Got out again and finish mowing lawn because I now have the gas can. go back across town after moving money around in the online banking only to have to spend cash but they ain't got the mot@$%@$%ing HANDLE.  Go home..

Next time things are going well I'm keeping my dog man mouth shut.  ;D

EDIT: My point being is that for some magical reason any time or motivation I had set aside for working on my builds was assisnated.  :-\

It was nutso. There's plenty of things I missed, too. Little things that constantly went wrong while all these big things went wrong. It's maddening. I think I have things going well again though so I'm optimistic for the weekend.   Problem is.... instead of chores and "free time" I now have to take apart the stupid tailgate and put in the new handle. Could take 30 minutes.... could take 3 hours.... who knows?!  ;D
