Very neat. The cockpit at the rear has a big appeal, and indeed a very thirties look . Should be done on more planes!

With it being a taildragger there is the slight issue of the pilot having zero visibility straight ahead.
I think when taxiing it would need a ground crew person sitting astride the fuselage behind the front engine making hand signals to direct the pilot.
I wonder how it would look with a longer fuselage?  I have most of a Lancaster under my bench...

I agree with the sexyness of a cockpit far back :
maybe it would be a nice source of inspiration to apply it of more modern jets?
and even more in the case of two-seaters 
and also, the three-wheel configuration might improve visibility

What blow drying his/her hair ?  Probably need a different crew member every take off

Obviously the military version would have had a bomb aimer with a window beneath the front engine and he/she could have directed the pilot.
I nearly put a window there but that part is mostly filler and I cutting it would have been fraught.

It's resplendent in gloss cream enamel from a rattle can at the moment.  I'm letting it gas out for a good long while before I handle it to mask for the blue parts.

Gloss cream. Very Italian, just need some green and red stripes and you've an SM product on your hands. Better not tell Raddish

Thanks folks.  It wasn't my intention to create an Italian Trimotor (I have enough of them in the stash already) but it does look like that is what I did.
