Splendid idea: the LAV-150 turret really suits it. 

I've often pondered on fitting a Scorpion turret to a Warrior hull....

Another thing that strikes me is that the Warrior hull is a pretty good starting point for a '1940s Merkava' type medium tank, such as appears in Tony Williams' The Foresight War. Stripped back to basics, it looks very much as if it came from the same drawing board as the Vickers Medium, just a few years later.

Back at the bench (dining table) for the 1st time since a few days before Christmas with this build.

Mostly smaller bits to add on before the primer coat goes on, then I'll have to think about a camo scheme.

Not much progress, I'm having trouble getting time to set up my paint table & airbrush in the garage (People keep insisting on parking their cars in it!) but I've done this with the ol' rattle can tamiya grey primer;

The new turret suits the it, the Warrior is ripe for all sorts of mods since it's never been upgraded massively.  Give it an aggressive edge.

Looking at all the over-spray, I think I've worked out a solution that doesn't involve tonnes (metricised "tons" ) of masking. However, this time I'll stick with weathering & maybe something a little different.
