Hello,

Few weeks ago I saw very nice photo of polish attack airplane - Su-22.

Look closely...she has similar movable wing parts to VF-0 Phoenix. Which lead me to idea...how would look polish veritech fighter? :)
I don't know if there is any veritech fighter with one engine. I don't think so. I will modify Su-22 to make it two-engined looking :)
I bought this set:

I'm going to use a lot of spare and kitbashed parts. I hope I'll be able to show you Macross face of Su-22 :)
Wish me luck :)

If engines are legs, well you can have one with a pair of crutches...

I am not aware of any single engine Macross Variable Fighter. Being a Valkyrie fan, I am curious what becomes of this project.

There is none, but it saves rather more of the Fitter shape, say a wasp waist and two balancing struts that's fed from the engine. That's for the "Gerwalk" mode, or whatever it's called when it's between a plane and a full robot.

If two legs are essential one could use a Lighting backend and provide a central rotation core to get the legs to the side for walking instead on top situation for flight.

There's a fan-designed F-16 based variable fighter that can be found online, and in Macross Delta, the currently airing series, there's also the Draken III, which doesn't appear to be single engined, but follows the body layout and planform of the Draken.

Hello!

I'm just before my wedding but also it's about time to make an update :)

There are two PE panels for cockpit. Seat is from Monogram F-105 and front panel from Su-22

Converted engine section:

Thrust-vectoring elements from SV-51 with additional exhaust PE parts:

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Little update...First round of PSR is almost finished. Hole for head is prepared and head itself is ready for mounting.
