Figured I'd start a thread, be easier to keep track of

Start off with this cool shot of CFB Greenwood, Nova Scotia. Moving a Herc to be a part of the display. Looks like the Aurora was a recent arrival as well.

Nice! I was born and grew up about 50 miles from CFB Greenwood. My aunt lived on the main drag through Kingston almost directly inline with the main runway. When we would visit her, I would just sit on her front lawn and watch the Argus fly over. The last time I was at Greenwood was either '91 or '93 and the CWH Lancaster war there.

That'll be the small, twin engined Herk then?  ;D

And the short winged Aurora as used, briefly, by the Snowbirds, before they realised that they couldn't turn while staying the same province............  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Nice little museum, visited 5 years ago whilst on holiday in NS and PE.  The Lancaster was in the old silver finish and the Argus was being resprayed.

Saw the news about the Herc somewhere else (I forget where).  The Aurora is IIRC actually an Arcturus (trainer version of the Aurora).

Got me a ride in an CP-140 Aurora whilst I was at RAF Gibraltar during the September NATO exercise. They have an all female ground crew!

Or, it's the home of the Canadian Ekranoplan development centre...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I've never been there myself, only flown over. I have a few pics somewhere of some Hercs and Auroras on the ground as we flew over en route between Toronto and Halifax.
