There's also a Vulcan in Louisiana at Barksdale.  Just how many are there?  ;D :o

Just saw this one out on the Aviation Wrecks and Relics Page (Imagine that!)

I would find it amusing to learn that there are more Vulcans in the U.S. or even North American than the U.K.

I was thinking the same myself too!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

A little update for the map Mark. The T-33 in Leduc, Alberta has been painted and moved, over to Fred Johns Park. Still in Leduc and only a few minutes down the road.

Where did that T-33 come from?

The knight's head badge on the nose looks remarkably like a smaller version of the one carried by Ormond Haydon-Baillie's 'Black Knight' T-33 that he flew on the UK show circuit many years ago.

It's an ex-RCAF example. Was rescued from a field here in Alberta decades ago, and restored by local Air Cadets. The Black Knight was also the 414 Squadron badge. Must be some relation there

Ahah, perhaps OH-B flew with 414?

He seems to have had a lot connections with Canada, even though he was British. Both his T-33 and Sea Fury were originally Canadian and both had Canadian reggies at one time.

OK, chaps, here is this list of Vulcan survivors

https://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/vulcan/survivors.php

The whole thunder and lightnings website is worth a moment or two of your time.
