Completely forgot.  Greenwood Lake Airport (4N1) has an ex-TWA Constellation N9412H, currently serving as a flight school office. Video of it landing here (circa 1976)
The F-106- 26 December 1956 to 8 August 1988

I may....may....go to Wanaka next year if the Mosquito's there. If so I'll pay a visit to the Canberra for you!

I was at Ohakea over the weekend for the Air Tattoo but I only had my phone and couldn't get close enough to snap the Vampire.

Now that's nice and looks so much better with the "pilot"
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Very true, I don't think I've ever seen a gate guardian with a pilot before, it makes a big difference.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

YES! It makes a considerable difference. It seems appropriate that aircraft mounted "in flight" should have a driver, whilst those with their wheels on the ground should not.

It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Funny enough the only other one I can think of was a Hunter F.6. Appropriately enough for this site it was mounted outside the Humbrol factory in Hull for many years and is now at Fort Paull.

I'll bet he was a 72/1 scale Airfix pilot.  ;D ;)

Ha! Yes, the pilot makes it much more interesting, really seems to be in flight.  I've never seen one like that.

The CF-116 (F-5) I worked on for the Military Muesum outside display in Calgary has a pilot in it too
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

No wonder he landed on a pole though, he hasn't got a Nav to tell him where to go!  ;D

I noticed the update to Ft. Sill here. Nice! I had no idea they moved all that up here. A shame, though, because it's still in storage I do believe.... and the BRAC stuff went down 11-12 years ago. I remember well because I worked out there putting in flooring in the new houses they built a few hundred yards from the airfield and this was in 2006. They've had plenty of time to do what they plan so I wonder just what the hold up is. Meanwhile, they've been building tons of new stuff constantly since then so maybe it's just not that high on the list of priorities.

I'd really like to take a closer look at an 88 and a SAM at some point!
