Well Airfix have just released a P-40B in 1/48.

All you need now is the missile and the girlie in the same scale.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I just love the way these publications were marketed at full grown men until at least the mid 60's. My old dad used to pick similar types up from a stall in Brixton market whilst I would get a Superman or similar US Comic (not Batman, couldn't see the point). No idea what my mum thought about it all  :rolleyes:
