Yup white is one of those  :banghead: paints. I use Halford Appliance White for everything other than very small areas. Even white primer with a gloss overcoat is better than brush paint.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Tamiya extra-fine white primer in the rattle-can, the white paint that works everytime.
I've given up on everything else.

White paint, now with added grey and canopy! Need to do some framing, add ordnance and decals then she's done!

Cool! Subtle enough to have them scratching their heads.

Looking forward to seeing this done.

Back in the day when I made a lot of USN aircraft (without knowledge of the rattle-can method) I would have four or five kits on the go simply because I would use about 10 coats of very thin white paint with 24-48hrs between each coat. Very effective but very time consuming. Took me awhile to get the hang but I now find Humbrol's acrylic white spray can very good...perfect white, but again in short sharp bursts about 10 inches from the target and several coats over an hour or so.

Somewhere out there is a Skyhawk front office and a Harrier butt......
This seems a natural fit!

Halfords' Appliance white does it in two coats, sometimes one. And it's a BIG can too, I only needed one can to cover all of my 777-900 with three coats, and that was only because it had 2000 different shades of filler applied.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Although i'd prefer if it had missiles instead of tanks on the wingtips, it looks good anyway.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
