I'm looking for an Arrow, preferably the last release (HC1393). Nobody seems to have them in stock...

Harro, have you tried going to the manufacturer --

Are they still going Robert I thought they had folded again which is why only one release of the retooled Arrow ?

I don't know Geoff, the website still opens, as does the contact link. I've sent them an email asking if they're still operating.

Harro, I've got The hobbycraft CF-105 kit in the stash (box HC 1392). I don't have any plans for it, so deserves to go.

OK, I got a reply to my email today. A fellow who's name is Darren answered it, he said they are still in operation but have switched their focus to HO trains. He did say they still do their Avro Arrows but only once every 6 months. I'd say Harro should contact them and place an order.

What's so great about the second release ? As far as I can recall, the only thing they improved was removing the actuator fairings from both upper and lower wing halves ?

According to this thread on Britmodeller there were more "improvements" than that made before the second release.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

This article on ARC gives the proper comparison with the two versions of the Hobbycraft Arrow, They really did redesign the kit even if the sprues look familiar they have corrected most of the size and shape issues plus improved the details to create a decent model. Just a shame it only got one production run and now so hard to find  :banghead:

Thanks for that ! I did look, but couldn't find it. For sure that's not the same kit as I had bought. Hmm, didn't know there were three different 72nd scale issues ?
