Got another one done today. Fujimi 1/72 Phantom FG.1.

This has been on the shelf of doom for over 2 years, yet has had a complete respray and been finished within the past 24 hours.

Whoa!!  She's gorgeous!  I just don't get the folks that say this was/is an ugly jet. I think she's one of the most beautiful and dressed up like this a pure stunner.

It probably demanded to be let down from the Shelf of Shame and finished so that it wouldn't have to compete with the new Airfix kit. Still, by the time that comes out, this one will be a long term resident in your display cabinet. Looks very nice BTW.

Not ugly but not beautiful either IMO - I think purposeful is the word i'd choose.

Good job.  Odd isn't it how a build can languish for ages and then something clicks and you can then finish it off quick smart.

You need to post up the finished pics, with the outer pylons fitted and the wash to bring out the details as it looks cracking now.

Oh I like it ! The finish looks perfect and so do the burner cans. I'd love to do one for a display. That's been one of my favourite a/c since the old Dinky toy came out.
