Nah!  The Mobile Flak Tower would make its own roads!  And there wasn't a river in all of Europe which would've been more than a "minor water hazard" to such a magnificent creation!  So it wouldn't need bridges either!

..........added to which it has what bakers call a "soggy bottom".   

Is this a good point at which to introduce the story of the Diamond T and trailer, carrying an old Churchill up to the Dundrennan range in the South of Scotland, that pulled off the road at the MOSS BAND transport café and sank so deeply while the crew were having a cuppa that it took the army three excavators and at least four big Scammells to get it out again?  Solway Moss nearly claimed another victim.

I think one of these would make a good mobile coastal gun emplacement. In the hands of the Cartel it could trundle along a border coastline/estuary and pick off anchored shipping then clear off before the air support gets there. 

But as it's the size of a small town it should be easily spottable of course..............

Martin, you don't have it on the table at a show,  you have it AS the table at a show.

The correct way to display one of these is to put it on the floor and have a 1/72nd Lancaster dropping a Tallboy on it from scale height...

Semi-serious suggestion: if Martin's determined to build this thing and bring it to shows, maybe the rest of us should contribute AFV-based roadbuilding equipment to go ahead of it. Get some excavator, concrete-mixer and road-grader models, take the equipment off them and and put it on paper-panzer hulls....

I like that idea. 
Although it would be easier to have a tallboy on a stand along side it labeled up as the only viable (air launched) anti tank round that would kill it.
The only other thing we had at the time that would trouble it would be a decent salvo from navel 16 inch rifles.............off A King George V class battleship 

And im already working on a few ex cromwell models paper panzers to go with it

As for the running gear. Im not that good. Mind you I suspect we will see at least one at the shows thats been moterised and fitted with R/C gear.
