I'm sure we all forgive you for not being dead.

The opposite? Not so sure we would be that lenient. ;)

It's just a pity it's not fun family times keeping you away from the keyboard & bench. :(

Life is a mandatory part of our existence..without it it makes our hobby extremely difficult so I'm told .
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

As so many times before - when low on mojo or modelling time - inflate the stash to stay in the game. ;)
This time, I stumbled over a reasonably priced Hasegawa F-100D that should look really nice in Spanish Mirage F1CE low altitude camouflage, once I get there.

In other news, the dismantling of the world order is progressing faster and more dramatic than even I, the designated pessimist, had feared. We are certainly headed into uncertain times, and I fear what's coming.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

You ain't the only one, my friend! :(

The person in question has no moral compass & everything is done to achieve his agenda.

Very much so

Re Hasegawa. I saw this the other day :  "In recent years, Hasegawa kits have only been released in 'Limited-Edition' format, with the result that boxings have inevitably been available for just a short time.

Fortunately, this is all about to change, as UK importer Amerang has announced that there will soon be a 'core range' of Hasegawa kits that retailers can order and then re-stock. This change will be accompanied by an advertising campaign from Amerang to revitalise interest in the Hasegawa brand, along with an in-house catalogue and is likely to be hugely popular with modellers."

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Let's not take this one any farther gents - thanking you in advance

A core range of kits in plain boxes with the limited edition decals and paint scheme instructions and weapons sets available separately?
Great for whiffing.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I think the "Core" range kits will include instructions and basic markings. Weapons sets will be separate and they will still issue their limited run kits with "special" markings.

The issue here in the UK will be price. I've always thought Hasegawa prices a bit silly especially considering the age of some of the toolings, but then being Brits we only slag off our own companies who do something similar

And yes I have shown myself a yellow card

PR19_Kit

I've ALWAYS slagged off Hasegawa's 'vintage' kit pricing.  :banghead:  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Only good thing about their weapons packs is that it includes European armament you can't find anywhere else.

The Airfix pack had a few of the Euro bits, IIRC?

Never really been a serious builder of modern jets so I wouldn't really know. Be nice to get some decent/accurate WWII era injection plastic weapons though. You can get some in resin, at a price, and I think there have been a couple of IM sets, ICM ?

Think there's an Italeri set that covers German and Italy but no idea how numerous they are.

>THIS< is their 1/72 issue. There is one in a less godly scale too, I think.  ;)

Speaking of ungodly - the latest international development is leaving me without words. The level of treason is..
Nah, I'll leave it. But I believe everyone one of us has a choice coming in a rather near future, and it will not be a nice one for many of us.
