But do try to convince a young bean counter about that, I dare you..

Either a young bean counter or a stupid donkey boss who's never done what he asks of his/her employees... :banghead:

Not heard of a Donkey boss.  I've had a Seagull boss.  He'd fly in, sh*t all over everything, and fly out.

<edit> or is that the sweary mary detector replacing ar5e with donkey?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

So the weather's been poo-poo (with an english accent) and my day has been even worse with an X-ray showing that the liver infection might have rebooted, something that obviously in its extreme is directly life threatening, but more likely just is severely annoying and a bit painful. It also properly shoots down any chances of getting vaccinated fully before September.

Trying not to lose it completely, and being far to tired to do anything practical, I made a recon tour through our local Evilbay and found an AMP Fairey Ultralight. Now - I have a memory of Kit at least having and commenting on one, and maybe even David building one, but I can't seem to find any thoughts on actual buildability.
Has anyone tried? How was it?

Is a seagull boss the same as MUSHROOM MANAGEMENT? Kept in the dark with buckets of S*** thrown over you at regular intervals?

The other problem is a bungee manager.   He's like a horizontal bungee jump.....hurtle in, make a pigs ear of things and then get yanked out again Before the fertilizer hits the windmill.

I did, yes. My build, as far as it went, is here.

I had GREAT difficulty with it, mainly as the parts are SO small, and my fingers aren't. :(

I haven't got any further with it in the meanwhile so it's still 'awaiting treatment'..............

Blimey! That's a bit discouraging. I just might let it pass, then..
Thanks a lot!

Kit, maybe you should add "building crappy kits so you don't have to!" to your signature. This is the second (or third) kit you've steered me away from. (AW.52, this kit, the Beverley...)

Pellson I hope your infection gets better soon!!

Thanks mate. Appreciated. What's really killing me is that I can't have any vaccines until two weeks after I'm done with the antibiotics, and those are normally six weeks. So second summer in confinement.  :-\

Six weeks of antibiotics has to really suck!  :banghead:

Could be a good idea, yes.

The AW52's just 'on hold' at the moment, the build issues have been overcome now, I just screwed up the painting first time around. And the Bev's going Ok, it's just slooooow at the moment as life is getting in the way a bit. :(

That sucks mate.  I'd be breaking stuff to vent some frustration.  Splitting logs often does it for me.

Breaking/splitting logs is hard work.................break wind, it's less energetic.

Well - another downside of having infections in your organs is that it eats on your energy levels. I was out in the downpour yesterday to divert some streams from our road (to annoyingly little avail) but that almost killed me. I was gasping for air, which literally almost had me drown in the rain. Not very pleasant.

But for now I'm just sitting on my arse waiting for the surgeon to return with an action plan. Is it six weeks on antibiotics, or first drain, then six weeks on antibiotics? Or worse? We'll know tomorrow.

In the meantime, I've scratchbuilt AN/ALQ-101 pod for the second Super Hunter. I had one pod from a weapons set but lacked the second one. However, with some sprue and some plasticard, I managed to sort one in less than an hour. Now off to the paint booth.
