The Martels have gotten their first coat, and I'm considering adding a pair of Bullpups to the equation as well. A Martel is quite a lot of explosives (and money) to pop off a surveillance trawler with, but an old Bullpup..

But they're perfect for the odd barge carrier heading towards Iceland under false colors.
(Clearly has not read Red Storm Rising    )

On second thought - there's TWO pylons/wing, allowing for both Martels and Bullpups..

Thanks for the consideration, N. I'm here now, sitting around waiting for... something or someone to get going, I presume? Not much life here..

Cock, Scoot. I had all but forgotten about that. I think a reread is now scheduled..  ;)

Full of all sorts of potential Whiffery.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Indeed. And slap bang in the middle of my interest period. 😉

Hospital visit actually went over expectations. While I got confirmation that I've lost 29% of my lung capacity, I also learned that there's a good chance that I can reclaim a significant portion of it, as there's not very much scarring in the lung itself, but in the diaphragm muscle. And muscles can be trained and retrained. Pretty chuffed, indeed!

Only minor modelling done as there's been lots and lots of logistics for a few days. But I've painted half the Meteor and some, and I've sorted everything larger than 1/700. Not too bad.

Then, I've gotten a bit hooked up on my old Spitfire FR.18. It's one of the most beautiful airframes I know. It so rich, in every aspect. All airforces should have had a few of those, or of the equally splendid looking PR.19, and they should have kept them in service for a long time just because of their lovely lines.

Damn you, Dizzy, it's all your fault! Now I have a sudden urge to dig out the old Ventura PR.19 as well. And maybe even the Airfix F.22 I couldn't resist when it came out. What I should focus on is that half blade Valiant bomber and the almost-spaceship Canbird.

Ah, well..  I'm still lustdriven, so maybe I'll just dig in. That F.22 looks to be a quickie, should I go for it.

Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Dug out the Spitfires today, and in the process, i found the to-be-griffonised Westland Whirlwind F mk Something. This is NOT the way I envisaged my building path a few days ago.

Besides, I need to get that Shack off the table. First.

Lovely weather, so the dog got a walk, and accordingly, so did I.

Have sorted up a bit more spares, and tbh, it's starting to look reasonable. What I probably should do is build out all of the spare weaponry kits I have, to then be able to sort in the ready to use weapons in the drawer system I already have going for exactly that. However, I don't think I have life left enough to do that, and it's anyway more fun to build aeroplanes. So sod it..

Almost there with the Martels to go on the Shackleton. Haven't decided on whether to just leave the two other pylons empty or hanging Bullpups there next to the Martels. All these decisions..

Now, time for another dog walk. The little bugger has to be exercised after food as he's too small to accommodate both this and the last meal in his belly simultaneously. You do the math..

Dug out the Spitfires today...

It's slowly dawning on me that I'll probably need another F.22 kit and also an Airfix PR.XIX kit as it would be really nice to have an F.21, wouldn't it? Or maybe even an FR.21..
Hmmmm...
