Zenrat: thanks for the Japanese secret Projects II review. It's the only one I'm missing and had not boght it as vol. I seemed a boit "empty" compared to the tohers. Now I'll get it.
Wooksta: Heydrick gives 0 results on bookfinder. It's the author's name Hendricks, Geoffrey, by chance?
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

The Wooksta!

No, I got the name confused with Heydrich.  I'm buying up a fair few books on the Third Reich, and the SS in particular, so it's understandable.

Try this instead:

Thanks.
It was curious that on Bookfinder I got results for Critical Mass by Hendricks, but it appears to be an exhibition catalogue, so it confused me.

Absolutely brilliant it is too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Gondor

Arrived today from that ever popular auction site

Warplanes of the Third Reich by William Green.

I think I paid more in postage than for the book

Gondor
My Ability to Imagine is only exceeded by my Imagined Abilities

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

The Wooksta!

It's a good compendium but it's well out of date and wrong in many aspects.  The Putnam Smith/Kay/Creek "German Aircraft of the Second World War" is a good companion volume.

I will keep that in mind for a future purchase

After that you should try his 'Phoenix Squadron' about 809 NAS' Buccaneers aboard the Ark Royal's (the REAL Ark Royal...) last operational cruise, a real nail biter.

Very good and I can still remember the original comment on the 6.00pm news  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
