Not a kit as such but a set of Accurate  armour 1/35th scale minigun barrels. These are getting scaled down to 1/72nd scale and become 25 mm Gatling guns for anti aircraft use on modified vehicles. I have given up trying to put together the brass M61 20mm one I have as the glue either fills the holes up or won't stick. I need to get some very thin super glue and try again, plus my fingers are too no good with the fiddly bits  :banghead:

I'm trying to cut back on buying kits, but when you run across one on the wish list on sale for half off... you just can't resist!

Yeap. been there, done that and got the stash to prove it...  ;D  :banghead:  ;)
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

That's a LOT of vacformed plastic there! And are you sure it's a B1? I thought they only did a B2, and I've got one.

My AZ MB5 arrived today, and it does look good.

Like all the other builders I'm a trifle wary of those butt jointed wings though! I see a couple of piano wire spars in its future....

Ah yes, there's a call-out for Joe Cherrie in the instructions too. Nice one Joe.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I was going by the artwork on the box,  I'll check it properly when it arrives.

The hobbyboss Merkava IV arrived this morning, and after looking in the box concluded that it would probably take me about 15 minutes to build. Parts count is a bit sparse to say the least.

That shouldn't be an issue if the detail quality's there ... Is it?

To be quite honest, the detail is very soft on it really, not as good as I thought it would be

Yes it is the B2 without the ECM fitted to the top of the vertical tail fin.
